Failure presents us with three choices. We can make excuses for what happened. We can blame others for the setback. Or we can seek lessons to be learned to make us more resourceful in the future.

So long as we are focused on offering excuses or assessing blame, we are anchored in the past, not the future. We are doing nothing which generates a greater spirit of optimism, confidence, and hope.

When we surface valuable lessons from failure, however, we equip ourselves to avert such setbacks in the future.

The most effective way to derive these lessons is by asking proper questions. In this episode, we emphasize one question in particular that should be asked when we seek to learn from what went wrong. It may be the most important question which you will ask in the entire exercise.
