Leadership Lessons from a Best-Seller

Leadership and the Power of Trust

Over two decades ago, Mike Armour uncovered a recurring problem as he worked with companies which were falling far short of their potential. As he peeled back the layers of underlying problems, he inevitably seemed to find issues of distrust which had either gone unrecognized, unaddessed, or unresolved.

He soon was speaking about this pattern in keynotes and trainings both stateside and overseas. The reception to his message led him in 2006 to publish the first edition of Leadership and the Power of Trust: How to Build a High-Trust, Peak-Performance Organization.

Fifteen years later, with polarization and distrust more entrenched than ever in American society, he decided it was time to release an updated and expanded edition. He did so in September 2022. Very quickly the book rose to best-seller status on Amazon in five different leadership and business categories.

In this episode he shares seminal concepts from the book and offers answers to questions which have been posed to him recently by reviewers.
