Geese are known for long-haul flights. Their annual migration requires them to traverse hundreds of miles, flying hours on end at a stretch.

Their ability to maintain that pace for that distance rests heavily on their masterful use of a V-formation.

Like the lead goose in that V-formation, we as leaders are often charged with taking our people to some distant destination. Our success in getting there depends in large measure on how well we fly in V-formation ourselves.

In our case as leaders, the V-formation is a cluster of priorities like Vision and Values which all begin with the letter V. Leaders are at the head of the flight which holds that cluster together and moves it forward. This episode explores that V-formation cluster and examines effective ways to capitalize on it.
